Atelium LLC · Business Education
Most coaches don't have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem.
Atelium is a business education company in Austin, Texas. We work with women who are building a coaching practice and are stuck at the same point: they know they are good at what they do, but they cannot say clearly who they serve, what they offer, or why someone should choose them. That is the work we do.
What we do
Three areas of work. They build on each other, and we rarely start anywhere but the first.
Niche definition
Finding the specific group of people a coach is genuinely equipped to serve — and getting comfortable with everyone that excludes. This is the step most people skip, and the reason most of the later work does not hold.
Positioning and offer
Turning expertise into something a person can understand in one sentence and decide on. What the offer contains, who it is for, what it costs, and how it differs from the dozen other options in the same field.
Business structure
The unglamorous part: how clients find you, how a conversation becomes an engagement, and how the week is organized so the practice runs without depending on constant improvisation.
How we work
We work with a small number of clients at a time, in structured programs and individual engagements. There is no template. Two coaches with the same credentials will usually end up in very different places, because the useful niche is rarely the obvious one.
The work is deliberately slow at the start. We spend a disproportionate amount of time on the question of who the client is actually for, because every decision after that — pricing, content, offer, sales conversation — either follows from that answer or contradicts it.
We do not promise specific business outcomes. Results depend on the individual, their market, and the work they put in.
Founder
Melissa Schemionek — Founder & Business Coach
Melissa Schemionek is the founder of Atelium LLC and works with clients under her own name. She has spent years building a coaching practice from the ground up — through the same problems her clients bring: an audience that was too broad, an offer that was hard to explain, and the reluctance to narrow down.
Atelium was founded on the observation that this is almost never a skills problem. Coaches who cannot describe what they do are usually not underqualified. They are trying to serve everyone at once.
